The French pop artist Louane came to prominence in 2013 as a contestant on the french version of ‘The Voice: la plus belle voix, season 2. After scoring a four-chair turn during the ‘audition a l’aveugle’, she landed on the team of Louis Bertignac. She made it all the way to the semifinals with her delicate singing style and inspiring life story, becoming an orphan at 16, with both her parents dying – her father just 3 months prior to the competition.
